About the community beta

ADDSIDEQUESTS turns everyday curiosity into real-world adventures. The owner can import curated packs and create missions across quick quests, day adventures, week adventures, bucket-list projects and one-of-a-kind editions. The owner manages which adventures are published. It is a browser app for adults aged 18+, not a clinical service or a native mobile-store release.

Your story and your account

Your ADDSIDEQUESTS account connects your explorer profile, bookmarks, chapter progress, private notes, XP and achievements across devices. Quest completion is self-reported; replaying a quest does not award duplicate XP. An exclusive edition allows one account to claim it, releases on leaving and retires after completion.

Leaderboard visibility starts off. Opting in shares your explorer name, optional broad area, XP and completed-adventure count. Publishing a story shares your explorer name and post with signed-in community members, your private squad, or an event group. Your private quest notes are never posted automatically. Configured reward checkpoints request a one-off location reading with permission. The proof record stores checkpoint pass, distance and accuracy rather than the exact coordinates; there is no background route tracking.

Photos and conversations

Photos uploaded through the app are resized and re-encoded without source metadata. Community photos are stored in the website database, not exposed as public Media Library links. Private group access depends on current membership. Ask permission before posting another person’s photo and do not share exact home addresses or sensitive information.

Safety and moderation

Reports go to the site administrators. They can review reported content, including reported private posts, hide content and pause explorer accounts. Blocking hides each person’s posts and replies from the other. Removing a post hides it; stored data and moderation records may remain. No emergency response or moderation response-time guarantee is offered.

Before public launch

The operator must confirm support arrangements, privacy and retention policies, account export and deletion procedures, customer terms, photography rights and event operations. This page explains the beta’s behaviour; it is not a final launch privacy policy.

Membership billing, paid ticket checkout, push/email notifications, verified venue directories and automatic proof-authenticity checks are not connected. Eligible reward quests use private evidence review or assigned partner confirmation. Proposed events are ideas, not bookings. Only confirmed, upcoming free events support capacity-limited RSVPs. Saving interest never reserves a place.

The sample adventures do not verify opening hours, routes, venue suitability or provider availability. Choose a safe, suitable location and stop whenever needed. Data from the earlier private demonstration site or browser-only preview is not automatically imported into this site.
